Craig P. Kvale has been practicing law in the State of Ohio for more than thirty years before both the State and Federal courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. As a partner with our firm, Craig’s practice areas focus on business litigation, civil litigation, and family law, with an emphasis on Collaborative Law.
Craig has substantial Domestic Relations Court experience in complex financial and business matters. In his civil litigation practice, he has prevailed before juries in both State and Federal courts. With expertise in complex business and general litigation addressing a diverse array of personal and business disputes, Craig’s practice focuses on resolving matters primarily for individuals and small and middle-market companies, along with the non-litigation or out-of-state law firms that represent them. Craig has obtained verdicts over $5 million in cases receiving national press.
In addition to his litigation practice, Craig is a founding member and past President (2006) of the Center for Principled Family Advocacy, one of the founding members of the Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Craig seeks to use a Collaborative approach to family law and business disputes where possible and appropriate.
Craig was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1991, to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio, in 1992, to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, in 1995, to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, in 1996, and to California in 1998 (non-active). He received his undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University and graduated from Capital University Law School in 1991.
